For a Limassol based, B2B - Accounting and Bookkeeping services company, dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions to its clients that mainly focus in bookkeeping, accounting and payroll services - we are looking to find a Finance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have under his/her supervision the Finance, Payroll and Accounting departments. The position reports directly to the company’s CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide insights to management for corrective actions.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulations.
- Review and improve financial reporting systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on resource allocation.
- Manage financial operations for forex companies at several jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations and requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external advisors to address financial and regulatory matters.
- Implement effective financial controls and procedures as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencies.
- Support strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Ensure the professional development of team members through training and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar position within the forex industry.
- BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office/ Excel is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
