    Bookkeeper - Nicosia

    For a well established development company, we are looking for reliable Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records for their organization. This role ensures all accounting activities run smoothly, supports financial decision-making and guarantees compliance with reporting standards.


    Responsibilities:

    • Record and post invoices for purchases, expenses and other financial transactions.
    • Handle bank and cash payments, including processing other bank- related debits.
    • Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
    • Reconcile supplier and customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
    • Record incoming payments and receipts promptly and accurately.
    • Set up and maintain accounts for new suppliers and customers.
    • Prepare and process supplier payments efficiently.
    • Prepare documentation and support audits, including posting year-end journal entries.
    • Assist with financial reporting and provide accurate information to management as needed.
    • Office administration tasks

     

    Requirements:

    • Higher in Accounting or Degree in Accounting with minimum of 3-5 years proven working experience as a bookkeeper.
    • Very good excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (preferably QuickBooks, or similar)
    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues, team spirit.
