For our client, we are seeking to recruit a full time in house Bookkeeper. The firm is part of a group of companies, involved with activities in real estate and with the automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Reconcile inventory by coordinating with the stock control department.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and reports.
- Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting and tax regulations.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must be a holder of LLCI Higher or equivalent
- Experience in Cyprus and basic UK bookkeeping will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- A minimum 2 years work experience in accounting and bookkeeping
