For our client we are looking for an Audit Supervisor for local and international clients with the prospect of becoming head of the department, in Nicosia.
The successful applicant will work as part of an established and expanding team responsible for undertaking the audit of small and medium-sized firms, on behalf of both local and international clients.
Candidates will need to possess sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Audit standards (ISAs), with the willingness to further develop your skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
- A professional firm offering a broad range of services including Accounting, Auditing, Direct and Indirect Taxation and Advisory that aim to meet their Clients’ needs. The firm currently serves a wide range of local and international clients.

- Auditing of both local and international clients.
- Keeping Senior Managers up to date with the progress throughout the course of an assignment.
- Communicating with clients and authorities.
- Ensure that Audit programs, Financial Statements and other related documents are prepared in accordance with the firms standards and generally acceptable principles.
- Participate in various stages of audits, analytical reviews, budgeting, planning, working papers, correspondence, financial statement preparation, disclosures and assist in the administrative functions.
- Assist in the execution and completion of audit engagements in a wide variety of industries and assume responsibility for completing engagements and projects assigned.
- Travel to other cities in some cases for onsite meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance or other related fields
- Qualified or partly qualified ACCA /ACA
- Experience in a similar position 2-3 years
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Fluency in both Greek and English Language (both verbal and written)
- Excellent communication skills and being able to work in a team.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Caseware and payroll software will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Fast learner.
