For our client, a top 10 Global Accounting & Audit Firm, we are looking to find a Senior Audit Associate, to join their offices in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- As an Audit Senior Associate, you will document and evaluate complex accounting and internal control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- You will apply analytical procedures throughout audit planning, fieldwork, and completion stages, helping identify potential audit and fraud risks.
- Your role will address auditing, accounting, and reporting issues and provide critical insights to ensure thorough, effective audits.
- You will prepare detailed plans and budgets for assignments, ensuring that all work is completed within the approved budget and timeframe.
- Leading and coordinating the engagement team will be key to your role, guiding them through the audit process and ensuring high-quality results.
- Additionally, you will evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Audit services or related field.
- ACCA/ACA qualification and membership.
- Good knowledge of auditing software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Broad Knowledge of IFRSs & ISAs and a general tax knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
- Negotiation skills in combination with a client-centric approach.
- Excellent people and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong managerial skills.
