For our client, a Top 10 Cyprus Audit firm, we are looking to find an Assistant Audit Manager, to join their Nicosia office.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in planning audit engagements, including defining objectives and scope.
- Conducting audit fieldwork, testing controls, and gathering evidence.
- Directing and supervising audit staff, ensuring effective performance.
- Serving as a key contact, addressing inquiries, and discussing findings.
- Reviewing audit workpapers for compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to management and clients.
- Staying updated on auditing standards and providing technical support.
- Enforcing internal quality control procedures for audit accuracy.
- Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their training.
- Staying updated on auditing and financial reporting standards (ISAs and IFRSs) and providing technical support.
- Assisting in various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4).
- ACCA/ACA/CPA member with a minimum of 5 years of total audit experience.
- Experience with IFRS, Risk management policies, International Code of Ethics and AML procedures
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Greek.
- Strong business awareness and high ethical standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical judgment skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and professional skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in auditing software, including Caseware, and excellent knowledge of MS Office programs

Salary:
€35,000 - 37,000 annual gross - depending on experience
